A little bit of history

In 2009, the Big Bad Burger Contest was born. The brainchild of Selina Meehleib and Jason Roach, the Big Bad Burger Contest is a cooking contest that benefits local charities. Each year the event is held locally, all proceeds benefit a local charity. Spectators come and try all the various burger cooked by contestants. Spectators vote on their favorites. Those votes are averaged with the score earned by the judging panel to determine the Grand Champion, winner of bragging rights and $1000 in cold hard CASH!
